Hi im back!

Hi everyone,
Sorry i havent been about for the last week, been kinda hectic! Last Friday my poor little doggie had to go to the vet and have 32 teeth out.... yes! you heard right.... 32!!! oh bless her heart, she only got 8 left. She been a very good girl, but its been giving her bit of grief, but she looks like a new dog!

Ive also been running round like a loony gettng things ready for the kids going back to school, getting the last few minute bits.... like trainers! wasnt as hard as i thought it would be, she picked them pretty easy! think i was in shock... thought it would take at least 5 hours to find the perfect pair! lol now im sorting out sewing on badges, making sure that all the uniforms are washed, ironed and ready to go! .... as i imagine a fair few of you mum's are also doing?
I also had my best mate come to stay for 5 days which was brill and such a laugh, only see her once a year as she doesnt live near me, but we had a great time, it was lovely to see her.
I have been crafting, but havent had time to take pickies, let alone post them! but i have posted my design on the Sugar and Spice blog for this month, if you want to pop over and have a nosey?
Shall hopefully get back into the swing of things soon and get posting again... so dont think ive forgotten all about you, as i havent! and once i get a minute, i will come and see what you have all been up to, have missed so much!

Its a Crafters Companion Challenge #4

Well its Challenge number 4 over at Its a Crafters Companion Challenge and using the following sketch, i came up with....

... this! Using Crafters Companion Popcorn Christmas CD and stamps, i made this card! i just adore this image, he is just soooo adorable and great to stamp and colour with!

Been Stampin' Up!

I have just bought and used Stamp a-ma-jig, and WOW, the best tool on the planet!
(Lets you position your stamped images EXACTLY where you want them!)

seriously dont know how i managed without it! It is amazing!


This is the first card i made using the Stamp a-ma-jig as i had to do 2 step stamping with the roses stamps from 'A Rose is a Rose stamp set'. Used some of the FREE ribbon bundle that you get if you order £45 or more in August

Using the 'Happiness Always' Level 3 hostess stamp set, i made this card, again using the brilliant Stamp a-ma-jig, as the stamps are 2 step stamps, love this set, its so pretty!

I saw a card on a blog somewhere (sorry i cant remember which?) and loved this colour combo with Petal Pizzazz stamps, and had to do my own version of this, i just love these colours, they are so vibrant and bright, i love them!

I love this stamp, its the 'Fresh Cuts' stamp, i just love the image, its gorgeous, used the other stamps in the set to make the flowers and stamp a background for the sentiment.

Using the Fresh Cuts stamp again! i made this 5x5 card, i also used some of the FREE ribbon bundle! so you get not one... but TWO bundles of ribbon!

I used the fresh cuts flower stamp for the background on this and Petal Pizzazz for the flower, some more of that gorgeous FREE ribbon too!

... Yep! its another one made using Fresh cuts, there are so many possibilites for this stamp, its absolutely gorgeous!

This is a fridge magnet calendar i made using the 'A rose is a rose' stamp set and stuck it onto swiss dots embossed card and added a little calendar! was really chuffed with how it came out, and of course... you guessed... some of that FREE ribbon again!

Two for today

Hello everyone, how we all doing? Sorry i havent posted anything for few days, although i have been making tons! so thought id better post them, before i forget! theres 2 here,
so scroll down for the other one!

I made this one the other night, similar to the other one thats further down!, made the flowers to match using SU star punch and another flower punch, think its a fiskars one? Stamped off a sentiment from one of the stamp sets i was going to sell, then realised they were actually really nice stamps, so decided to keep them! typical, havent ever used them, have a major clear out and decide to use em! oh well, that about sums me up dont it? lol

Using my beloved Cricut... yep i finally took it out the box, as hubby wanted to see what this 'wonderful' machine did, and yep... he was totally impressed! i cut out the
'thinking of you' phrase used on this card.

Both cards made using the Manga kids stamps, which i have totally fallen in love with! they are just the cutest!

Popcorn Christmas Launches on Ideal World

Well the wait is over! Popcorn the Bear Christmas CD launched tonight at 9pm on Ideal World as a Pick of the day, stacks of the stock sold already! so the launch was brill, soooo many samples too, and here are just some of the ones that i made, so keep an eye out for them (if it manages to last till tomorrow!). I had so much fun in designing the printables for this CD as the images are just so fab to work, so cute, and i must say im really chuffed how they came out. I think my fav one was the bear with the wreath? but they were all fab to work with.

This was a note set i made (mum has already put in an order for one for xmas!)

This is the inside, there are notepapers of several sizes, with envelopes to match along with some tags.

another one, the blue on the background which you cant see very well is embossed with Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder, using the toppers and some ribbon that i stapled onto the card.

This has to be one of my fav images on the whole CD and stamp set - this was an image i stamped and coloured, and used one of the stamp sentiments too, made a flower to match it all too with a bit of ribbon to finish it off.

I like this one, its a big one! i used one of the inserts (which you can just see) so when the card is shut, it just covers the insert, used one of the stamped sentiments again and ribbon threaded through the card, and of course some bling coz its christmas!

Awards!

I am just soooo thrilled today, i got not 1 but 2 awards today! i feel sooo chuffed and would like to thank the 2 lovely ladies that gave me them, they are Julie and Angie, so thank you so much to you both for my lovely awards, it means so much to me that you think of me for this, and i would love to say a huge thanks and give you both a big hug, so thank you both. Both of these ladies have fab blogs, so please pop over and have a look at their lovely creations.
Right now for the other bits that go with it? hmm where do i start?

1) i just am sooo adicted to crafting its becoming an obsession! lol
2) my family think i live in my craft room! (never seem to come out of here!)

4) i love stampin and have an enormous collection (which is growing constantly!!!)
5) i bought a cricut and im scared to take it out the box in case i break it!
(so sad i know... but i looks so neat and tidy in the box!)

Manga Kids

I was so chuffed when my Manga kids stamps arrived, (think so far this one is my fav! she is sooo cute!) had to make a card, used some papers i downloaded (oops embarrsed face cant remember from where?) some ribbon from stash and some punched flowers that i added a gem to, used one of the Stampin' Up oval all stamps and the oval punch and scallop punch also from Stampin up, as well as the small punches from the Three for you punch box set from Stampin' Up! Finished off with a big flower, which i made using one of Bevs flower tutorials, WOW her site is fab, she is such a talented lady, very inspriational! (big hug to Bev for the flower tutorial!)

... well anyways... heres the card....

and had to finish off the inside to match, so used nesties and same sort of theme as the outside.

Tuesday Craft night and a Thank you!

Well it was Craft Group Tuesday last night! ... much to the amusement of my hubby with my little goodies i bring home! He loves em really ;-)
... well here they are... 2 plain boxes... hmmm... what could be inside?



Tada! butterlies! this was our project and i was in total awe of it! looks such a fab technique so yep... had to make this!



... then had some time to spare so made another! this time, i used the flowers from the paper (which i cut out,) so they are floating!



And i would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Steph for the candy i won off of her! its totally delish! and a gorgeous card to boot! was so chuffed when i opened it this morning, so THANKYOU Soooo much Steph, your a total Gem! xXX

My first Sugar and Spice Design Creation

My first Design Team Creation...

Well i was totally gobsmacked to be chosen for the Sugar and Spice Design Team, but absolutely chuffed to bits, so after our first initial team meeting, with heads buzzing of things to make, i chose to use the Love and laughter stamps to create my very first design.



So here they are - Love and Laughter, they are just totally gorgeous and my head was buzzing with all sorts of ideas. I also used Memento Dew drop ink pads (all items available to buy from Sugar and Spice shop too!)





Using the New Sprout, i stamped out a polka dot background using the small circular stamp and also onto a seperate piece i stamped background and flowers using the Lady bug and Rose bud pads. Stamped lots of flowers out and cut them all out and attached using a metal brad.

I also stamped and cut out the heart words to create a leaf effect on the main flower,

stamped out a sentiment, bit of ribbon across the middle, stamped sentiment and matching flower inside and hey presto! my first design team card! Phew!


Hope you like it? These stamps are just gorgeous to work with and there are so many possibilities to create with them, this is just one of the sets sold, so why not pop along to Sugar and Spice and have a look at all the stamps, im sure you will just have to have them all too?

... here is what i came up with! Using the Popcorn CD, i used papers and toppers along with some star shaped gems and glitter, bit of ribbon and buckle from nesties.
