Scrapbook Page

It's not often i doscrapbooking ~ to be honest i do get a bit stuck as to where to start! but have tons n tons of scrapbooking stuff that i really should use..... but it's all to pretty and i can't bear to cut any of it up!

The flowers on here are from Creative Expressions and are called Joyful Florals ~ i thought they were so cute they fell in my basket! ooops! dont you just hate it when that happens?

 

Scrapbook Layout

I don't often do scrapbook layouts, but i absolutely love these images and had to do a double page spread with them for my post on the Sugar and Spice Design Team for last month. Using a pink page that already had a slight pattern on, i used some masks, which i then inked around and then went round with a white pen to add stitching (and yes it took ages!) used some pearly doodles to add some accents. Inked around the photo which i used punches to make a pretty edge that i mounted the pictures on. The sentiments were from the Scribble Flowers stamp set, which i just love. I glittered the petals and added gem in centre to finish off, and must admit.... im kind of liking scrapbooking, so may have to make alot more pages.

3rd scrapbook page!

As you may be aware... my son has just returned home from Australia after 4 years!!! and this was one of the photos i loved of him (he hates it though - thinks he looks a bit of a geek!) i loved this photo though and decided to plan a scrapbook page around it.
I used a play on words with the {son-} flower part and used Papermania Marie curie stamps for the background (as they had a sunflower!) and then to make the larger flower i used the personal impressions ones again, i love the stamps, they are just so simple, but you can use them for some really good effects! i particularly like the flower petal as it makes a fab flower when you stamp lots of them! glittered the middle of the background sunflowers as i thought it set it off bit better, but was really pleased how it all came out.

First of 3 scrapbook pages

I just love this image of my daughter and my husband. She was only about 3 years old, but she was just so angelic but cheeky! I love the fact that the images are black and white too, so designed the scrapbook page around that.
I used black scrapbook paper and stamped the images onto that, and coloured the leaves and flowers in with silver letraset marker and then added touch of glitter glue to the centres, used nestabilities flower die for the 2 larger flowers and added text i made from Word, then stamped all over that and cut it all out, added a few diamondy embellishments and thought it looked fab!
The stamps i used were build a swirl by Prima marketing, and they are massive! but gorgeous!

Finished Scrapbook Page

At last! finally finished it this morning! Whilst trawling through the mountains of washing my beautiful daughter brought back from school trip to Wales.......and yes theres lots of mud! lol
As for the scrapbook page, i am pretty chuffed with how it turned out, took a while with all the cutting and designing the words, glittering it etc.....but im really pleased and so is Chloe.

I havent forgotten you all! had to go back to work yesterday after a month off so kinda getting myself back into the swing of things and fitting my crafting in too!
Have started to put together a scrapbook page of my daughter, with photos of model shoot she had done at friends party. Loved these photos soooo much that i had to put them together in scrapbook page... Have decided on colours and paper, just gotta put it all together, this is what i have collected together ready! so keep an eye as i will post it once its finished!
None of the photos are stuck on yet! have backed them all onto pink glittery paper, which i think goes really well with the photos as they have a lovely shade of pink in, and the black as a contrast! Just got to work out the layout of it all, which i think is going to be the harder part?

Not sure?

Made this as i was inspired by the colours of the scrapbook page, green and pink which looked fab, glimmer misted the background in the same colours (although they dont look the same colour?) but i think it needs something else? but what? hmmm?
ideas on a postcard to.........! LOL

Sorry I havent been about...

Sorry i havent been about, i had bit of a bad time with one thing and another lately, dont really want to go into it all....... but im ok and on the mend!

Been crafting lots one way or another, designing the monthly downloads and making samples as well as crafting full stop! and they right what they say, crafting does fix all problems!

Hubby been fab, took me to ExCel today and bought stash loads of goodies, cant wait to play! met Steph, Wendie Rhodes, as well as other demo people cant think for the life of me their names now! how rude of me! i can see their faces too! oh am so embarrased now!

anyway, will try and be good and continue with my postings and not slack....
