Happy Birthday Dad

Hi all, hoping your all well?
Well it's my dad's birthday today, so wanted to post his card on here (don't worry he does have the card!) I also made it for my design team post for Sugar and Spice this month, so wanted to also share it with you all. I really love this cupcake, soooo cute and was really chuffed with these colours, not really the greatest lover of green things, but with red, think it works well. The papers were from a scrapbook pad i bought and card stock of red that i have.
Will hopefully, when i get a chance get some more pickies posted, but have been soooo busy with work, that i really havent had a chance, so apologies for that, but as and when i can, i will post!

Hi honey... i'm home!

Can i firstly thank everyone who sent wishes recently with all the problems ive been having... got some major grey hairs to show for it all too! Thankfully, Pop's is now home and semi-recovered, he was almost a gonna for bit there... Dr. said it was a very close call, too close for comfort, but they sorted him out and it was a real awful time for all of us, but thank you for the kind wishes etc, much appreciated, big hug n kiss to you all.

Right, back to the nitty gritty! Last month, i designed this card for the Sugar and Spice design team, but with everything going on recently, havent had chance to post anything! but will hopefully catch up soon and be back to normal (if that is at all possible for me? lol) i've also, just posted this month's card if you wanted to pop over and have a look, the team of designers have all been working really hard, so why not go and have a look?

Also, been meaning to post these too, from the Tuesday night craft club, which i have been missing soooo much with everything going on, but hopefully, come Tuesday... i will return! We did silhouettes and i must admit, i was really pleased how they looked, another few to add to my stash of xmas cards for this year! ... still got tons to make tho!

I've also just finished designing the Downloads of the month for November for Crafter's Companion, will post the card samples i made shortly, but 1st November you can start to download them, so keep an eye out for them!

Update...

Hi all, just a quickie.... went up the hosptial and Pops took a major turn for the worse! We had to call in the family as he went into sceptic shock and is now in intensive care! he is very very poorly so im not sure when i will be around as yet! so havent deserted you all, just got a few other things to deal with.... especially lack of sleep at the minute!

Never rains but it pours!!!

Hi all, just a quickie, as im just about to get off up the hospital! Pops has fallen and broken his shoulder now, and they have found a few other things wrong with him, so gotta see whats what with him! so been kinda busy with one thing and another, thought things were starting to settle down too! oh well, never rains but it pours as they say!!!

Tuesday night Craft club projects!

Well here are the projects i made last Tuesday at the Craft club, havent taken photos of this weeks one's yet, but will post them soon once i sort that!
We did masking, which i must admit i really liked doing, and was sooooo easy and such a good effect, think im going to be doing a fair bit of this technique... especially with all my new stamps ive got recently!

Apologies first....

Hi all, apologies first for lack of posting... had soooo much on lately, just havent had time so my apologies for that!
Well last weekend i went to Ally Pally, bought some goodies, which i must admit, i still havent unpacked! (told you... ive been too busy!) enjoyed Ally Pally, didnt spend huge amounts, but i did get some stamps, and do you know what... cant remember what else i got? oh! some of the new cuttlebug folders! lol
Pop's and the dog are doing well... pop still in plaster, dog still in bandage and having to go back to vet every other day for dressing change! foot looking good and fingers crossed should get lab results back soon!

Right, down to some crafting stuff now! I have managed (in all this hectic madness at the minute! lol) to get the downloads of the month done and they are now live on Crafters Companion site, ready to download, usual stuff, log in to download.
I have an owl thing at the minute, not sure why? but i just think they are adorable! so with the sets i created, these are the samples i made with them, hope you like them? and why not pop over and download your free set!

Some more cards...

These are some more that i made as samples for my first Stampin' Up! party recently. Made two cards using the same theme, but 2 different layouts!

Both use the SU Spot On roller wheel stamp and real red ink and cardstock, also used SU brads gold and silver and the oval all and scallop oval punches from SU. The above one used some SU real red ribbon.

I love this stamp set purely for this image, its the Mr & Mrs set, and this image is just so sweet! I used Kraft Card, and Kraft coloured designer series paper for the background pattern, Brilliant blue card and ink and close to cocoa ink and some gems i had in stash. Also some ribbon i had in stash that matched perfectly!

I had my first Stampin' Up! party the begining of September and had to make some samples to show, and here are a few of the samples that i made... managed to photograph them all at last!

Stamps set:SU soft Summer and fast flowers wheel stamp.
Card stock: whisper white, old olive
certainly celery ribbon, old olive and so safron ink pads.

Love this set, but its now on the last chance list! its Office accoutrement, and i used certainly celery and real red in ink, card and ribbon. Also used totally tabs stamps and punch for the side tabs. Finished off the flowers with little diamante stones.

This is also on my list of fav stamp sets, just love the funkiness of the set! theyre such neat flowers! Using More mustard card, white card and real red, certainly celery, close to cocoa, brocade blue ink, real red button and some thread, and the greeting is from Occasional greetings set. Also used some of the patterned paper from the designer series papers, more mustard.

Tada...... at last, a post with some cards on!!!

I finally got round to photographing some of the creations ive been making, but not got round to posting due to the hectic problems ive been encountering lately, so should have some posts ready for you!
I love this stamp set, its so cute! Its called Garden Whimsy by Stampin' Up!, and the products i used were, Whisper White card stock along with Real red and Basic black card. All other products used to create it (except for the diamonte's) are Stampin' Up! products, Ink pads used are Real Red, basic black, Old olive and pixie pink. Punches used are Scallop Oval, large oval and the scalloped border punch.

From the Mr & Mrs Stampin' Up! set, i used this flower as the theme for the set and Lavendar Lace for the colour. I used Forever Flowers stampin wheel to add stamped image to the candles, so that it all matched. Inside the set are set of cards and envelopes. (bottom picture)

Operation went well!

Doggy had her operation today, to remove her tumour from her foot, had her toe removed and nearly all of her back pad, looks sooo sorry for herself! what with having her teeth removed couple weeks back and now this! Shes on tons of pain killers - thankfully! and has lots to take, couldnt bear to see her in pain. She gotta go back every few days to have her dressing changed, first one Monday... so will get chance to see her little foot!
Ive had so much on my plate lately... hopefully my luck will change soon? ... and the dogs! shes really going through it, bless her heart.
On another note... pops is doing well and coping better, so thats brill! gotta have his plaster on for 5 more weeks, then hopefully things can go back to normal? I hate being out of my routine, drives me nuts, but things are chucked at us and we have to deal with em eh???

I did this last month for the Sugar and Spice design team, but with one thing and another recently, havent had a chance to post it! so thought whilst i had 10mins spare to pop it up here for you to see! there are lots more over there to look at that we have all been creating and its such a brill shop too! so if you get a chance pop over to the blog and better still, pop over to the shop!

Using Cute as a Button stamps from Sugar and Spice and memento ink pads, and a pink theme (pink has to be my fav colour!) i made the following card, i think i have a major flower thing going on a the minute, as everything im making has a flower in it, on or or is a flower!

Back to the stamps, as soon as i saw them, i knew they would be just soooo much fun! They are just totally cute, and the possiblilities of uses for them, you can use them for so many things, i could be here all day with list after list of uses for the buttons! So i had to use them for this months project, they are called Cute as a Button stamps from Sugar and Spice. I love the stitching on them too, such a brill set of stamps!

....Update!

Hi everyone, thank you for your lovely thoughts and wishes, Pops has had his new plaster put on and is more comfortable, enjoying all the fuss of us all running round like headless chickens after him! Im going off my crust with the animals! lol bird loves to sqawk lots, buts thats what they do... but it kinda drives ya nuts constantly! dog is a little nuisance, running around constantly and yapping at anything that moves, my dog been a super star, taking it all in her stride, so really proud of her, she been soooo good considering.
On another brill note... had a rather large parcel from Stampin' Up! yesterday with some new bits soon to be released at the end of the month, so when i get a chance i will have a good look through that and have a play! got some other crafting stuff im gonna have to get sorted, so will set myself some time and get all that done! cant have this eating into severe crafting time now can we?

Going to be awol!

Hi all, hope your all well? sorry to say im going to be AWOL for bit, as its kinda manic here at the minute! My 82 year old father in law fell over on Saturday and has broken his leg!!! so hes in plaster from top to bottom, and i have a total menagerie of animals at my house to look after as well as the old fella! So once i get a chance, i will pop on and see you all, so take care till i see you, and sorry i wont be about, hopefully i will get a chance at some point to come and say hi and post some stuff, but i havent even got the time to do any crafting at the minute! aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhh how will i cope? lol

Hi im back!

Hi everyone,
Sorry i havent been about for the last week, been kinda hectic! Last Friday my poor little doggie had to go to the vet and have 32 teeth out.... yes! you heard right.... 32!!! oh bless her heart, she only got 8 left. She been a very good girl, but its been giving her bit of grief, but she looks like a new dog!

Ive also been running round like a loony gettng things ready for the kids going back to school, getting the last few minute bits.... like trainers! wasnt as hard as i thought it would be, she picked them pretty easy! think i was in shock... thought it would take at least 5 hours to find the perfect pair! lol now im sorting out sewing on badges, making sure that all the uniforms are washed, ironed and ready to go! .... as i imagine a fair few of you mum's are also doing?
I also had my best mate come to stay for 5 days which was brill and such a laugh, only see her once a year as she doesnt live near me, but we had a great time, it was lovely to see her.
I have been crafting, but havent had time to take pickies, let alone post them! but i have posted my design on the Sugar and Spice blog for this month, if you want to pop over and have a nosey?
Shall hopefully get back into the swing of things soon and get posting again... so dont think ive forgotten all about you, as i havent! and once i get a minute, i will come and see what you have all been up to, have missed so much!

Been Stampin' Up!

I have just bought and used Stamp a-ma-jig, and WOW, the best tool on the planet!
(Lets you position your stamped images EXACTLY where you want them!)

seriously dont know how i managed without it! It is amazing!


This is the first card i made using the Stamp a-ma-jig as i had to do 2 step stamping with the roses stamps from 'A Rose is a Rose stamp set'. Used some of the FREE ribbon bundle that you get if you order £45 or more in August

Using the 'Happiness Always' Level 3 hostess stamp set, i made this card, again using the brilliant Stamp a-ma-jig, as the stamps are 2 step stamps, love this set, its so pretty!

I saw a card on a blog somewhere (sorry i cant remember which?) and loved this colour combo with Petal Pizzazz stamps, and had to do my own version of this, i just love these colours, they are so vibrant and bright, i love them!

I love this stamp, its the 'Fresh Cuts' stamp, i just love the image, its gorgeous, used the other stamps in the set to make the flowers and stamp a background for the sentiment.

Using the Fresh Cuts stamp again! i made this 5x5 card, i also used some of the FREE ribbon bundle! so you get not one... but TWO bundles of ribbon!

I used the fresh cuts flower stamp for the background on this and Petal Pizzazz for the flower, some more of that gorgeous FREE ribbon too!

... Yep! its another one made using Fresh cuts, there are so many possibilites for this stamp, its absolutely gorgeous!

This is a fridge magnet calendar i made using the 'A rose is a rose' stamp set and stuck it onto swiss dots embossed card and added a little calendar! was really chuffed with how it came out, and of course... you guessed... some of that FREE ribbon again!

Two for today

Hello everyone, how we all doing? Sorry i havent posted anything for few days, although i have been making tons! so thought id better post them, before i forget! theres 2 here,
so scroll down for the other one!

I made this one the other night, similar to the other one thats further down!, made the flowers to match using SU star punch and another flower punch, think its a fiskars one? Stamped off a sentiment from one of the stamp sets i was going to sell, then realised they were actually really nice stamps, so decided to keep them! typical, havent ever used them, have a major clear out and decide to use em! oh well, that about sums me up dont it? lol

Using my beloved Cricut... yep i finally took it out the box, as hubby wanted to see what this 'wonderful' machine did, and yep... he was totally impressed! i cut out the
'thinking of you' phrase used on this card.

Both cards made using the Manga kids stamps, which i have totally fallen in love with! they are just the cutest!
