Bloomin' with Beauty

As soon as i saw this stamp set, i had to have it, it is just so pretty, the set is called 'Bloomin' with Beauty' from Stampin' Up! and i just adore this flower, there is a little bee in the set too along with 2 text stamps and another beautiful stamp of hydrangeas in a pot.
(Remember if you want to order any products from Stampin' Up! please feel free to email me and i can order them for you!)

This is the same stamp again, but using the En Francais background stamp (also from Stampin' Up!). I think text/script backgrounds look really stunning on cards, ive seen alot of cards with text/script on them, and they look so effective.
Obviously i couldnt avoid a bit of distressing on this one! had to!!!

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon
Take care

Birthday cards...

Recently 2 of my favourite people had their birthdays 1 day apart! My best friend Sharon, who celebrated her 40th Birthday and who i met through crafting and is just the best mate you could ask for, i made this for her birthday, had a bit of a major grunge off with it! but loved the finished effect!

My next favorite person is my eldest son, and as i usually do girlie cards and stuff i had to think of something that was more 'manly' so using Stampin' Up! 'Loads of Love
stamp set and accessories,
Which is available at a special price at the moment with Stampin'Up!
for details please email me and you can also order the set for £15.16 instead of the usual £18.95!

Was quite pleased that i can actually do male cards for a change... not a sight of any flowers in sight anywhere! and the only pink is on the parcels in the truck, so think i got away with it!

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon
Take care

2nd Post today...

Well... 2 posts in one day! i am getting good :-)
Here are a few of the creations i have been making whilst missing in action....
I bought a magnolia magazine, and WOW was i liking these little characters, had a dig about and found that i had one in my stash! amazing what you find isnt it? I actually have a couple of them... even better eh?
I've also been busy making flowers, i am loving making these roses at the minute, think i am finally getting there in making them? This set is from Stampin' Up! called Vintage Vogue, must admit it's one of my fav sets at the minute, also liking the distressed look too.

Another Stampin' Up! stamp, this one is called Medallion, with the sentiment from the Oval All set, which is just such a lovely set.
Another one using the Medallion stamp, I think this stamp is just so pretty, really looks effective and seen so many gorgeous creations using this stamp... so may have to play with this one a bit more?
Well that's it for now... if i do any more today, will pop them on later, if not, then when i get a chance to post them up here.
Thanks for popping by, hope to see you again
Take care

Same card - 2 looks!

Using SU True Friend stamp set, i made the following 2 cards, both the same, but so different with colour and the monochromatic look. They both have the same insert, which i used Martha Stewart punch for the edging and stamped the image and sentiment inside to match.

Using SU gable green card stock, i inked the edges in SU Old Olive ink pad, stamped the images using SU certainly Celery and Lavender Lace and mounted onto co-ordinating cardstock, glittered the points on the flowers and added some SU Old olive ribbon.

Same card, but inked up in SU Basic Black ink and mounted onto SU Basic Black card stock and some pearlised card i had in stash. I used some black ribbon from stash and used silver glitter glue to add to the flowers

Insert, same in both cards.

Join my FIRST SU 10 Club

Join my 'first' Stampin Up 10 Club

What is a Stampin Up 10 club i hear you say? A Stamper's 10 Club as a way to get all the goodies you want from Stampin' Up that you have on your 'Wish List' slowly and affordably - and even get some of it for FREE!

What would i have to do to join the Stampin Up 10 club? e-mail me with your Stampin' Up order totaling £15 or more once a month for just 10 months! There is no fee to join, the money that you spend will only be on Stampin' Up Products.

How does the SU 10 Club work? I would need 10 lovely people to join the SU 10 club which will last for 10 months, (you can extend you membership after this if you wish, to continue to get all your SU goodies!) As there will be 10 people spending at least £15, every order is guaranteed to total £150 - the minimum order amount needed to earn your free stamp sets and products from Stampin' Up. With 10 people and 10 months, this will allow each SU 10 club member to take a turn picking out their free hostess product.

How and when will i get my order? Once you have placed your montly SU 10 club order, i will email you with the total price of your order and details of how to pay. Once i then place the order and receive the goods, i will then post them onto you.

Do i have to come to any meetings or have any parties? No, definitly not, you are under no obligation to attend or host anything! (except of course the ‘Virtual Hostess ‘ for the month (this will be taken in turns through each hostess). Of course, if you wanted to host a ‘party’ at your home, then please email me your details and i will get back to you on this.

Are there any other benefits? If the FREE Exclusive Hostess Stamp Sets and the fantastic Stampin Up products aren't enough for you, there are some other SU 10 club benefits as well. TWO, FREE Catalogues – The latest Idea Book and Catalogue, plus the latest Mini Catalogue sent out to you with your first order. Once the latest catalogue becomes available, it will be sent to you FREE of charge.

Interested? Has this tempted you to join? If so, please email me your details to Nicki at indicards@tiscali.co.uk and i will get back to you with more details, if you have any queries or require any information about Stampin Up and their products, please feel free to contact me.

Look forward to hearing from you and having you join our first SU 10 club.

Crafting group...

Went to my first card making group last night, which i must say i enjoyed lots (Thankyou to Alison for this!)
We made coaster books and these are the ones i made...

Im sure that sales of 'Post-it' notes are going through the roof at the minute (after last night anyway!) and was really chuffed as id only made one the other night! so was a different theme on them, which was really easy to follow! loved it and will definitly be going back next week! we are doing something with coat hangers!!! hmm! i can hear your minds ticking already! (all will be revealed... so your going to just have to wait! LOL)

UPDATE....
...on another note...Jeannette (My SU 'mum') phoned me last night to let me know my paperwork has all gone through and any day now.... yep! i will become 'A Stampin Up Demonstrator' WOOHOO!
so if there is anyone who would be interested in 'Stampin Up' products, please feel free to contact me, as i will be sorting out monthly clubs, hopefully Demo's and workshops? and all the other stuff that goes with it, so excited about this.
Also, if you would be interested in becoming a Demonstrator yourself, please contact me for details, although i will be posting information shortly on here about it, and all the benefits and information you will need, so please keep popping back for more information.
See you soon and take care

Covered Tin tutorial

Take a tin with a resealable lid (yep im addicted to cappuccino! its fab!)

Choose a paper to cover you tin.... i used scrapbook paper (big pad, cant remmeber the name of it again! oops!)
Measure the height of your tin....

Cut paper to size (12 x 12 paper is a good fit, although A4 landscape also fits!)
i used double sided tape to stick the paper to the tin...

i chose to use 2 co-ordinating papers, so attached the second one to the tin, but then you get an 'ugly' line!

I used border punch to cut a strip to run around the middle...

Using double sided tape (again!) i attached it around the middle of the tin...
still got some ugly lines tho!!!

Using some co-ordinating Pink border peel offs (or some ribbon... whatever you want to use, i attached around the top and bottom where the paper meets the top (you sometimes get a gap!) and the a strip around the middle to hide where the scalloped bit meets the paper...
I then attached images i stamped with Stampin Up stamp 'Playful Petals' (my fav at the minute!)

Et... Voila! the finished tin! hubby still thinks im really sad and need to get out more! lol
