Look what i did!

Well i have been away for few days - due to a work related injury!!! taking the safety cap off the Martha Stewart Circle cutter and cutting my finger open - had to go to Minor injuries to get it sorted! how daft eh?
Anyway.... had a go at making some jewellery! was i chuffed with myself when i made these? Mum couldnt believe i made them, hubby said they looked shop bought, so i was pretty over the moon by the reaction. The photo doesnt do the colours justice, they more a yellow colour and almost look illuminous! but shall definitly be making some more! Gotta get used to the jump rings tho, and doing the twisting stuff, but its getting there!
Hope yo like them?
This is the whole set - Necklace, earrings and bracelet....
.... and this is close up of bracelet!
Hope to see you soon, Take care

Patchwork Polly

I made these 2 cards several months ago for the release of Jayne Nesterenko's Patchwork Polly set. I loved the set as soon as i saw them, they are just so adorable, think these 2 are my favourite. I met Jayne at Ally Pally (which shows how long ago they were done!) and told her then how much i loved the stamps, as she was demoing them before the launch, so it was really lovely to see her using them too. I didnt get to send them off for the launch as i was really poorly and hence, they didnt get sent off! not sure if ive posted them before, but as they were on my camera and ive been uploading them all to the PC, i thought i better post them! Apologies if they have been on before!

Thanks for stopping by, and hopefully see you again soon?

Bloomin' with Beauty

As soon as i saw this stamp set, i had to have it, it is just so pretty, the set is called 'Bloomin' with Beauty' from Stampin' Up! and i just adore this flower, there is a little bee in the set too along with 2 text stamps and another beautiful stamp of hydrangeas in a pot.
(Remember if you want to order any products from Stampin' Up! please feel free to email me and i can order them for you!)

This is the same stamp again, but using the En Francais background stamp (also from Stampin' Up!). I think text/script backgrounds look really stunning on cards, ive seen alot of cards with text/script on them, and they look so effective.
Obviously i couldnt avoid a bit of distressing on this one! had to!!!

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon

another distressed one!!!

As soon as i saw this stamp set from Sugar and Spice, i had to have them, they are just so pretty! Love the flower, altho i think its a dandelion isnt it? Anyway, the stamp set was the inspiration, remembered i had a cuttlebug embossing folder with similar flower so thats the background, stamped all over a plain piece of card the leaves from the set and yes it was all distressed! but i do like how it turned out!

The other box....

Remember about a week ago, i altered a box, said i was making another one, well this is it!
Went a abit OTT on the distressing on this one, was having so much fun!
The stamp is from Craft Stamper magazine, brilliant magazine, so inspirational!
Anyway, here's the box, which i bought from QD and only cost about £1.99! plain wooden box, still have one more to alter, which is a jewellery box, so not sure what im going to do with that one yet?
Using Tim Holtz stamps (love his stuff!) i stamped all over the box, which id covered in acrylic paint and had to distress before i stamped like a loony over it! Flowers had in a box for ages, thought they went really well?
Hope you like it?

My gorgerous baby!

I just love this photo of my daughter, and this was in a different frame, the frame broke several times, till i thought stuff it... buy a new one! got this one and had to make a surround for the photo, i stamped the images onto sheet of white card and then had to distress it! love distressing, seem to be doing lots of it!
Anyway, this was the finished effect and she loved it!

See you soon and thanks for stopping by

Absolutely love this stamp, think it is just so elegant, i made this a while back, but as i have been uploading all my photos to my pc, i forgot id dont this one!

I made these a while ago too! id seen a tutorial for making these flowers, and must admit, got slightly addicted making flowers, which is how these 2 cards came about, think the flower is so brill! Will have to find a link for you, cannot remember where i found it? Sorry :-(

Birthday cards...

Recently 2 of my favourite people had their birthdays 1 day apart! My best friend Sharon, who celebrated her 40th Birthday and who i met through crafting and is just the best mate you could ask for, i made this for her birthday, had a bit of a major grunge off with it! but loved the finished effect!

My next favorite person is my eldest son, and as i usually do girlie cards and stuff i had to think of something that was more 'manly' so using Stampin' Up! 'Loads of Love
stamp set and accessories,
Which is available at a special price at the moment with Stampin'Up!
for details please email me and you can also order the set for £15.16 instead of the usual £18.95!

Was quite pleased that i can actually do male cards for a change... not a sight of any flowers in sight anywhere! and the only pink is on the parcels in the truck, so think i got away with it!

Same card.... 2 versions

Love this stamp, think its really pretty, decided to do 2 different versions of the same card, the first one has been stamped twice and then the flowers have been cut out and decoupaged onto the image....

This one, same again, but i used different colours on the stamp, huffed and puffed on the stamp and stamped the image, to get this one.
So although they both look identical, they are both subtly different!

See you again soon, thanks for stopping by

Craft club Tuesday...

I know it says Craft Club Tuesday, but recently we did an all day Saturday, which was brilliant, crafting all day, tea, bickies, lunch.... was a really lovely day (Thanks Alison and ladies)
Here are the creations i made that day...
I found this patterned paper and had to use it as the flowers were the pattern, so cut them out and layered up with some punched flowers and swirly stamp for the stem, wasnt quite sure on it to be honest?
Love this paper of these owls, its just so adorable! Been and bought the pad coz i need to look at them and stoke them! not sure if youve noticed, but i love owls! they are just sooooo cute!
I had stamped the toppers on the next 2 cards, but hadnt got round to doing anything with them, till that day! they would probaly make really nice xmas cards?
 ...here's the other one.
Saw the stamp on this one, and thought it looked bit plain, but had to have a play and was really pleased how this one came out. Distressed the text in the background (page out of a book) punched the flowers in matching card and finished with a sentiment.
This was an easel card, loved the toppers and colours of it with the papers, so thats the inspiration in how this one came about.

Well, till next time, see you soon
Take care

2 Step Bird Punch

I just adore this 2 Step Bird Punch from Stampin' Up! It's just so cute, and you get a branch with it too! what more could you want? I made these using the punch (top one made at Craft Club) the other 2 at home...
This one - Easel Card

These 2 are both the same, but opposite colours.

Hope you like them?

Altered box

Ive been having serious play with altering stuff, bought this plain wooden box for about £1.... yes.... £1 and then started to alter it. I used Gold and Cream Acrylic paints and some Tim Holtz stamps and even made the flowers on the top! Have been making another one, which i shall put on soon, still doing that one, but i am loving playing with getting messy!
See you soon

Been AWOL...

Hi everyone, apologies for having been AWOL for some time now, but i havent been feeling too good and had lots of stuff going on that ive had to sort out too!
