Purple Gorjuss Card

I was really pleased with how this one came out!

I downloaded the papers from Monti's pixel playground and was so pleased with them, theres ribbons, elements and papers and they are really gorjuss colours too, theres lots of other papers etc to download, so worth a look if you get a chance!

I used Gorjuss stamp from Funky kits and a nestability shape that i inked with Tim Holtz inks to stamp her onto, sizzix die for the swirly bit and punched out some flowers to top it with. I coordinated the inside to match.

This is a Gorjuss card i made using papers downloaded greatfully from Summertime Designs and i must admit they are absolutely beautiful, so i would like to say thankyou for designing them and letting us download them!
I also used my cuttlebug to cut out the swirly die, which is a sizzix border die, and my new frame die, which i think was nestability one? very pretty frame and set. Alchohol inks and letraset permanent markers to colour and of course the Gorjuss Girl stamp from Funky Kits and to finish it off some flowers!

He's home!!!

I am sooo over the moon as my son returned home on Sunday from Australia after 4years!!! so it is absolutely fab to have him home, ive now got all my babies with me and its sooooo fab!!!

Came home from work today, package waiting, eagerley opened it and woohoo!!! my new gorjuss girl stamps arrived!!! they are fab! cant wait to cut them out and start stamping with these. The images are so pretty, really hooked on these images, they really are a must have!

Gorjuss card

This was a card i made a couple weeks ago, never got round to posting this, or dont think i did? but used one of my fav gorjuss stamps, love this image, and printed off some papers i downloaded from somewhere? sorry but i forgot where i downloaded them from! ooops how bad is that? inked the edges, nestabilities frame, bit of glimmer mist... had to! and a flower to finish it off. Was rather pleased with the result to be honest, so kinda proud of this one.

Mum's birthday card

Was mum's birthday this month, made her this card, is from the new Crafters Companion CD Cute Companions - Summer Stories she was over the moon with it, so was rather chuffed about that! Its a wardrobe front that opens to decoupage dresses, and inside have decoupaged the contents of the wardrobe, put some glaze on and some peel offs, bit of glitter to finish it off and hey presto!!!

Sorry i havent been about, been really busy!

Went to Ally Pally on Sunday with Anna, had fab day, got lots of goodies, photo shows all the stuff i got! managed to get hold of some Sarah Kay stamps, over the moon about that, they are just sooo cute!
have been stamping and colouring them all, but havent made them into anything yet!

Wear Red and support our troops

RED FRIDAYS Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? Britishmen and women who support our troops used to be called the 'silent majority'. We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for Country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many British people, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of Britain supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that every Briton who supports our men and women afar will wear something red. By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make Great Britain on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football team If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family, It will not be long before Britain is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once 'silent' majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on. The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make things better for you?' is...'We need your support and your prayers'... Just wanted to wish you all a very happy easter, have a fab weekend, whatever it is you have planned.
Myself, we are going to sister-in-laws for family get together tomorrow evening, then Sunday, dinner at mum and dad's, apart from that, still trying to finish tidying after my manic decorating spree! almost there, just a few trips to the dump and i would have found my house again! lol

Hi everyone

Sorry i havent been about, i have been majorly busy! my son returns from Australia in the next couple of weeks, so have been frantically decorating the kids rooms, swapped them around too! You know when you start something, then think 'oh my god' yep! thats what i did - lol - but so glad ive done it now, my daughters room now looks unbelievably different (used to be my sons room) and cannot believe how much better it looks. My sons room looks so different too, and not a hint of girlie stuff anywhere now, which is kinda strange? I have to lay the wooden floor in there today, then he's going to help me put all his stuff back (as his stuff-including his bed! oops - are all in the shed!) so once thats done, i shall be crafting to my hearts content, and designing too of course! i have missed my crafting, but.... been painting and decorating, so that kinda counts dont it?

well...

Well its the Easter Hols at last! 2 weeks of bliss (i think not! lol) the kids are going to be running round like loonies driving me mad im sure? but at least i have my craft room to retreat to! phew!
Going to be busy, got lots to do in the 2 weeks off, with designing things for Crafters Companion, making samples, making stuff with my goodies, oh how i have missed all my goodies! dont get enough time to play when im at work! i cant wait to get time away to just sit and play, so hopefully, there will be lots of posts in the next 2 weeks of stuff.
