Tuesday craft night!

Better late than never! meant to post these yesterday, but been sooo busy having a major clear out! but anyhow... the themes of the night was to make lollies, heres my 2, the summer 1 was the first one, couldnt resist the fruity bits, then i thought n thought.... FAB lolly.... so had to make a FAB lolly (my fav lollies!!! - still a 5yr old inside LOL) so here's my lollies, then....i saw....



... this oriental paper and the card and BAM! inspiration boom came and wopped this up in about 10mins! amazed myself too there! but was really pleased with it.

Sugar and Spice

Brighton!

Have had bit of a FAB weekend, (not had chance to play with my Cricut yet!) but been to Brighton (Son has moved down there!) and we went on the beach... the pier and had FAB weekend, it was also his birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAN! he said he frequents my blog often (yeh i bet! lol)
Anyways, heres pickie of us at Brighton...


and yep got some rock too! yummmmm! and of course, had to have some donuts too, the amazement on their face as i was trying to eat it tho... cant think why? lol

Oh my word, was i an absolute nutcase this morning...
knock at the door....

then the inner box...

WOW, how excited was i?



Ordered it on Friday (special offer on Create and Craft) got my discount too! and WOW, cant contain my excitement any longer! im sooooooooo thrilled! cant wait to play, and no havent had chance to yet!
Its going to be going on super hyper cutting mode tonight, once i get my little mitts on it! lol

Im so thrilled, i just got an award off my dear friend and fellow Crafters Companion Design team member Pat, thank you so much Pat, thats made my day! I love Pat's blog too, her creations are wonderful, and i am soooo looking forward to finally meeting her and other members at the Craftaganza in November.

It's a Crafters Companion Challenge 2...

'It's a Crafters Companion Challenge blog'.
Its the second challenge over on the 'It's a Crafters Companion Challenge blog', using the following sketch we had to come with a creation...


this is what i came up with, (why not pop over and look at all the other designs done made!)



I used the 'Papercraft Twin Pack CD' by Crafters Companion and the matching stamp sets and made the flower to match the cards using nesties shapes.

Same card - 2 looks!

Using SU True Friend stamp set, i made the following 2 cards, both the same, but so different with colour and the monochromatic look. They both have the same insert, which i used Martha Stewart punch for the edging and stamped the image and sentiment inside to match.

Using SU gable green card stock, i inked the edges in SU Old Olive ink pad, stamped the images using SU certainly Celery and Lavender Lace and mounted onto co-ordinating cardstock, glittered the points on the flowers and added some SU Old olive ribbon.



Same card, but inked up in SU Basic Black ink and mounted onto SU Basic Black card stock and some pearlised card i had in stash. I used some black ribbon from stash and used silver glitter glue to add to the flowers



Insert, same in both cards.

One for today.... so far!

This was a take i did on a card in the July Craft Stamper magazine, the owl stamp was a freebie! its soooo cute! might have to get the set, apparently its a sugar nellie stamp! Papers are freebies i downloaded, (embarrassment - cant remember where i downloaded them from! oops!)
The phrase i used Sugar and Spice alphabet stamps, which has tons on it! theyre brill!

Journals...

Tuesday night was craft group night and we did covered journals! i made these 3 and all have matching bookmarks, i loved the stamps on these, and am now trawling the net to find some! I know they are Heidi Swapp, so am having a looky about for some!
This was the first one i made, the idea was a sketch, and once i saw the papers (havent a clue who they are by?) i knew the colour scheme i wanted, punched the flowers and glitter glued the centres, this one is for things i need to remember... so should be full by the end of the week! LOL

2nd one... and again, loved the papers on these (think i was having an autumn colour evening?) same sort of thing..... this one is for things i can think of to make or do.... hmm end of the month full? lol

the last one... saw these papers and was WOW! they remind me of the Tart & Tangy stamps from Stampin Up which are on my next order as i love them stamps, but these were just such lovely colours i had to use them, not sure what i might enjoy... recipes maybe???

Well, next week i will try and post them before the end of the week! had a bit of a rush on this week with one thing and another! hopefully get some crafting done over the weekend and will post them as soon as...

Challenge 1 Crafters Companion Blog

Well the first challenge has been set for the Its a crafters companion blog challenge, and using the following sketch, this is the card i came up with!



Using the 'floral' themed CD which i think is gorgeous, i used co-ordinating backing papers to the bear, stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set to match this bear and printed off one of the toppers from the CD.

My Gorgeous Grown up baby!

Oh Crikey! how quick do they grow? this was my 'baby' on her induction week last week for Secondary school, she looked soooo grown up! but absolutely loved it and doesnt want to go back to Juniors, just wants to go to big school! God im sooo proud of her, she just got her school report too and Wow girl done good!
She will probaly go mental when she sees ive put this on here, but had to share my pride and joy with you all.

Hope you like them? i had lots of fun making this set as i love sunflowers, they remind me so much of summer, and with a summer like we're having at the minute... very apt i thought!

Garden Whimsy by SU

Well as promised, once i got a chance! here is a card i made using Stampin Up Garden Whimsy Stamps, made this the other night whilst i had few minutes spare! I love this stamp set, there are so many cute images on it.
