21st Card

This was one i designed for my son's 21st, but changed my mind and made another!

still not too sad a card mind! but didnt have the WOW factor i was looking for!

made him a HUGE A3 card, think i put it on here? and made him a 21st book, that is on here!

... sorry just checked and i hadn't so here they are the ones i did send him.

Been promising for a while!!!

Well i have been promising to update with some pickies of recent cards ive made, these i made during the 6 weeks hols, just after coming out of hospital, needed to get back into the swing of things......

well here they are, virtually all xmas cards made with various, bought some new WOW stamps, they just 'are'!!! and some of the trimcraft xmas decoupage stuff, they arent exactly my best, i must admit, but here they are.....wont keep you waiting any longer!

What have i been up to?

Well, where do i start? been trying to get into blog for ages! lol lost my password!!! that will teach me huh?
bought a new super duper fast PC, managed to link it up to the old one, (yes i know its super geeky thing to do!) but now with the flick of a button... hey presto, flick between PC's! super sad! lol
have been designing lots of stuff, on PC and off! made lots of xmas cards, going to have to scan them in and post them, to show you all, when i get a chance! Tina been asking me to put some more stuff on, so has Yvonne, so gonna have to sort that out... and soon!
Hubbies birthday this week, bless he's gonna be the big '50' had to make a card obviously!
was arranging a party, then he went into a grumpy ol' man and didnt want one, so had to cancel that! shame, i was looking forward to that, never mind!
what else??? oooh dear, apart from being working mum, housewife, computer geek, designer etc.. etc... etc... just normal run of the mill stuff for me!
will, now i can log into the blog (hahaha) post some more stuff, and keep you updated on what ever exciting develpments occur! (bet you all cant wait for that eh? hehehe)

I've been tagged by Tina and she has told me i am it....... So here goes and here are the rules:

So here we go....:
1. I'm Nicki, been married for 8 years next year! have 3 fab kids, 2 sons 14 and 21 and a girlie of 10... going on 20!!!.
2. I have always been into crafting in one way or another! Started years ago, mum taught me to knit and crochet, then got into other stff, x-stitch, then made mum a mothers day card about 4 years ago.....craftin big time began!!!! now i have a mega store in my house!
3. My pet hate is people who dont say please or thankyou! it dont take alot does it?
4. Im a bit of a messy crafter, but often tidy mega style and find stuff i havent used in ages! which is a bonus! but always manage to get the job done!
5. If its new.... obviously i need it! glutten for a new gadget or item of 'must have' craftin!
6. I am part of the design team for Crafters Companion and design the grahics for the CDs, which i absolutely love to do, have been doing so for.... phew! about 2 years or so now? also make samples for the shows etc.... love it!
7. Have always worked in one form or another! have had several jobs in various fields, from office work, nursing, hairdressing (qualified hairdresser too!) now work with the visually impaired, adapting work for them. Am a MAJOR computer geek! love my PC's and all the gadgets for it!

Whats new?

Well, here i am again! have changed the layout.......hope you like it? i think its very pretty, my fav colours!
Just came back off hols, which was 2 weeks of much needed R&R after recent events. Am busy designing stuff........as always! been making a few cards too! will post them on here once i scan them in etc...
Well, apart from that not alot to report, will continue to post as and when i get a chance, and anything exciting happens, although Crafters Companion Occasions CD just been released! chuffed with that one!

What have i been up to????

Hi, sorry not been about! been sooooooooo busy. Have been doing lots of designing for future CD's for Crafters Companion and that takes up lots of time..... but i do get such a buzz out of doing it, especially seeing what people have created with something that i have designed, to think they chose that design coz they like it.... makes all my hard work worthwhile to know the enjoyment people get out of it! im not the only designer mind.... so dont start thinking i do all the work! there are other's who work their socks off too, so im not taking all the credit here! LOL

Haven't really had chance to make alot of cards recently mind... although i have done some... which i have managed to get posted on here at last, while i take a breather!

Will hopefully pull my finger out and post more often coz im slackin i know, but will try my best to keep up with things!

This was made using the new Boys & Girls CD from Crafters Companion, with the 'woof' stamp over the background and matching dog, backing paper etc....

... and this is the inside! it is actually a pop out card, but you cant really see that from the picture, but believe me it is a pop out!

I made this for my mum for Mother's day, and yeah i know that was a while ago, but as i said, i havent posted for while! ooops! she loved it by way!

Made this for Mum's birthday, from the new Cute Companions CD, she loved this too, coz of the mice! the fact that you can print their outfits and stick on them on.... like the papers dolls you used to get

Bookatrix card using the papers that i designed, i love the colours and the flowers on this..... so quite pleased with myself with this paper!

I hadnt done any stamping for a while, so just decided to make this one with just stamping and embossing..... quite pleased with the result!
