Royal Visit

I know its not the bestest view of my hubby! he is the one at the very front on the right! but the picture behind her is my hubby! lol
she came on royal tour on Wednesday and he met and spoke to her, he was very chuffed to have met her.
Will hopefully get one of him actually speaking to her, have to wait for the 'official' photos to be released! lol

Chuffed to bits!

Im sooo chuffed to bits, just got in from work and theres a parcel... from funky kits, its the sugar nellie stamps! went and had a nosey the other night and accidnetally popped them into my basket.. as ya do! lol
i got:
Pen Pal, Rope swing, Demure, sitting with bear, sweet and sassy and nellie with crocheted hat! so chuffed, they just sooo cute, and whilst at work, i accidentally clicked on the site again - as you do (LOL) and ordered the gorjuss girls, wow i cannot wait for them to arrive! going to be stamping and colouring all night now!
ive been promising myself i would get them as i have seen so many people with these and i think the designs that have been made are absolutely fab, so well done everyone on your cards etc they are such an inspiration and so pretty!
so watch this space as im sure there will be a few pickies soon! and may do some demos? will have to see what i can do?

New baby card

Heres a card i made with the Messy Rabbits baby stamps, using some backing paper from the CD, think these are sooo cute!

This morning's play!

using glimmer mists as background before i stamped the paisley pattern, then stamping a peacock, bit of colour etc, quite pleased with the colours tho!
going to have bit more of a play now! after all... its mother's day and im not allowed to do anything but craft! how awful eh? NOT!!!

Mother's Day card

been and done all my shopping... and had to pop in to several craft shops - as you do! and yes a few things slipped into my basket, but it is mother's day tomorrow and apparently im allowed, maybe i should have CHUCKED a few more things in - like a cricut machine maybe? ha! too late now i suppose! lol
anyway, had to get a card done for mum, she loves pansies, hence the card!

Sunday!

Will hopefully manage to trawl through the ironing today! hmmm not exactly what id like to be doing, but has to be done!
Will then hopefully get some crafting in later, am hoping to make a few cards and hopefully (fingers crossed!) another scrapbook page as i loved making this one.
Hope you all have a fab day and will post pickies once ive finished them, unless you want photo of the ironing hahaha which i doubt very much!

Finished Scrapbook Page

At last! finally finished it this morning! Whilst trawling through the mountains of washing my beautiful daughter brought back from school trip to Wales.......and yes theres lots of mud! lol
As for the scrapbook page, i am pretty chuffed with how it turned out, took a while with all the cutting and designing the words, glittering it etc.....but im really pleased and so is Chloe.
so here it is.........

I havent forgotten you all! had to go back to work yesterday after a month off so kinda getting myself back into the swing of things and fitting my crafting in too!
Have started to put together a scrapbook page of my daughter, with photos of model shoot she had done at friends party. Loved these photos soooo much that i had to put them together in scrapbook page... Have decided on colours and paper, just gotta put it all together, this is what i have collected together ready! so keep an eye as i will post it once its finished!
None of the photos are stuck on yet! have backed them all onto pink glittery paper, which i think goes really well with the photos as they have a lovely shade of pink in, and the black as a contrast! Just got to work out the layout of it all, which i think is going to be the harder part?

Glimmer Mist Fairy!

Had to funk up these scrapbook papers coz they 'needed' a little something! some embossed etc on them to make them look bit more alive?
As for Glimmer Mists! well... the background has been misted, so has the green under the fairy and had to use the new fairy... Zinnia, must admit she is my absolute favourite, she is just soooo pretty, so as i couldnt think what else to add to the page, had to fairy it up a bit!
Am pleased with how it came out tho! Glimmer mists just add that little bit of sparkle needed! and with a bit of glitter.....

Made this as i was inspired by the colours of the scrapbook page, green and pink which looked fab, glimmer misted the background in the same colours (although they dont look the same colour?) but i think it needs something else? but what? hmmm?
ideas on a postcard to.........! LOL

WOW! Glimmer Mist!!!

Cor WOW! Glimmer Mist sprays are just absolutely gorgeous! bought 2 yesterday from Sugar and Spice (fab shop by the way!), but knew id have to go back and get some more......which i did! hahaha
Look at these colours?

And this is a card i made, yep changed my colour scheme from pink, brown and blue to these really gorgeous rich colours, which i decided on after id messed about with colouring the cuttlebugged part. I glimmer misted the polka dot cuttlebug background, found some really yummy orange ribbon lurking in the depths of my ribbon box and stamped some of the little flowers and hey presto! was rather chuffed with it.


Off to play some more with these glimmer mists! will post them later.....

Crafters Companion Flower Fairy Friends

Here are the samples that i made for the launch of the new Crafters Companion flower fairy friends CD. Due for Launch on Saturday 7th March, at 9pm on Ideal World. Im very ecited about this CD and stamps to match, they are absolutely beautiful and were lovely to work with. I hope you also enjoy the CD and the stamps?

I been buying some inks, gonna have such fun with these!

Bought them all from Sugar and Spice as Marion was just soooooo helpful in converting me and convincing me that they were a must have!

Card i made earlier....

Here's a card i made from yesterday's play about, got a distressing thing going on and a colour thing too! browns, blues this time?

Not sure if it needs anything else tho? will have a think about it? maybe bit of glitter somewhere? butterfly or the flowers?

The creations i have been working on!

These are what i have been working on, with stamps and cuttlebug and trying different techniques! haven't decided what im going to do with them yet? no doubt they will go onto a card, but still having a play!

Pink, Blue and Brown day!

Started off today by doing this card, which yes i know is the same as the one in the craft stamping magazine, liked it that much that i made it for my mum for mothers day!

Been playing with my cuttlebug and got this blue, pink and brown thing going on? colours look really nice together! although they havent come out as i had liked, but i did a variation on a theme with the following 2 cards, was quite pleased how they came out, used inks, sakura pens for some of the colourings.

Bought the new sizzix embossing plate, which i think is really pretty, embossed onto plain pink card and then sanded the pattern and gems for the centres and some glitter glue, couple flowers and hey presto! lol another card!

Have also been having a play with some other stamps (Elusive images) and painted them, but havent done them onto a card yet, if i get a minute, i will take photo and upload them before and after shots!

Busy bees

Heres a card i made today, using the busy bees stamps, which i think are gorgeous, have a cutesy thing going on at the minute i think? but i just love this little bee on the swing!

Been doing tidying!!!

Ok, yes i did the dreaded tidying up! was in such a mess.... although still looks it! think i need a bigger room? once i'd cut all my new stamps out and managed to stash them away (into my organised chaos) thought id better have a bit of tidy! and yes.... i do work in that lot! hahaha
